关于我们
BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance is a contemporary dance company that strives to capture and communicate universal human encounters through dynamic, purposeful movement. We are a multifaceted, highly physical company laced with provocative, emotional, political and humorous edges. Our mission is to examine depths of society in their darkest and brightest moments and to inspire audiences to physically sense emotional and psychological aspects of the human condition on stage. Our work is intellectual and highly choreographed in every moment. It is intricately technical and controlled in every nuance, with a look that is not controlled. Live music is an important factor in many of our works. We also consistently work via in-depth collaborations in lighting, costume, video and set design. In addition to creating and performing innovative works, our company is committed to reaching diverse populations through outreach and education and maintaining a stable business model to sustain our work. Our company values international exchange; we collectively speak nine languages and research, perform, and collaborate with artists from five continents.

?? Celebrating Natalia Sánchez! ?? Working with Natalia has been such a joy! I first got to know them as a graphic design intern, and from day one, they stood out as a team player and forward thinker. Collaborating behind the scenes, I saw how dedicated and insightful Natalia is, always ready to jump in and contribute. Then last year, Natalia joined our Winter Intensive, and it was our first time dancing together. It was incredible to see this new, physical side of their creativity come to life! We had so much fun brainstorming movement in improvisation and composition sessions, and watching them embrace the material in technique class was inspiring. Natalia has a beautifully nimble, skeletal quality to their movement that is both strong and fluid, mesmerizing to watch as they launch themselves through space with such ease. Natalia's quirky thought patterns combine wiht their movement flow, creating exciting moments in the studio. They’ve been a valuable team member in our projects this year, and we truly enjoy every chance to work with Natalia! ? Appreciation Post for Celia ? Getting to work with Celia in both the rehearsal process leading up to Arts On Site and both summer intensive sessions this year has been such a joy. Celia is an incredibly talented dance artist with a truly unique perspective, and she brings so much depth to every movement. Watching her "unleash her creativity" and go all out in her explorations has been inspiring—she has a way of fully embodying each phrase, making it her own with such commitment and expression. Celia’s ability to uncover new dimensions within her movement is something special. She doesn’t just perform steps; she investigates, experiments, and expands, finding a powerful range of motion that transforms each phrase into something extraordinary. Her focus and intensity elevate the energy in the studio, and being around her as she dives into her creative process is very exciting. Beyond her technical skill, Celia brings a focused energy to the space. She lights up the room with her spirit, making the whole creative process feel more observant and alive. Her willingness to explore fully, take risks, and push boundaries is genuinely inspiring. Here’s to Celia and all the power and creativity she brings into every space she moves through—it’s been such a privilege to create alongside her! ?? Photo Credit: Scott Shaw and Sofia McGowan
