Balancing a Zoom call and a Healing Ceremony... Ohhh boy, to Navigate Priorities in a Digital World- Recently, I had to visit my father due to an illness, and we held a deeply cultural healing ceremony for him. It was an important moment for my family, filled with tradition and significance. In the middle of that 3-hour ceremony, I had a business Zoom meeting scheduled—a meeting that couldn’t be missed. Balancing these two priorities was a challenge. Both were incredibly important, and I needed to be respectful and present for both. I stepped out for 30 minutes, politely excused myself from the ceremony, and joined the meeting. It’s a delicate dance—figuring out how to honor family, culture, and business all at once. Things are written all over the internet. --Both true and false.... This includes testimonials and reviews on companies. Many times they're simply fabricated-- made-up. Although I understand this business tactic to provide social proof, in my business I'm strictly against this. I feel that authentic testimonials or authentic feedback, either positive or negative, is the best thing anybody could gift my business.
