关于我们
Since 1996, BOC has helped building operators across the United States increase their skill levels in energy efficient building maintenance. We want you to join the nearly 1000 building operators who will advance their skill level through BOC training this year. BOC training helps building operators identify energy consumption issues and curb overall energy use. BOC-certified building operators often save more than $20,000 in annual utility expenses. Building Operator Certification (BOC?) is a nationally recognized, competency-based training and certification program that offers facilities personnel the improved job skills and knowledge to transform workplaces to be more comfortable, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. The BOC credential is recognized by employers across the country as a sign of the value and contributions certified facilities management personnel can bring to their organizations.

Since 2020, the Smart Buildings Exchange (SBX) has united industry leaders through a mix of virtual and in-person programming. Originally launched in 2018 as the Why Smart Buildings Executive Forum, SBX has continually evolved to meet the needs of the industry. Now we’re taking the next step. This year marks the beginning of a new era—a year-round Smart Buildings Exchange experience with ongoing virtual live webinars recorded throughout the year and an in-person conference experience each fall in Seattle. 2025 will be a transition year as we reimagine the future of our virtual programming. We’re thrilled to gather in person on November 5th for a half-day conference and happy hour in downtown Seattle—mark your calendar, check out our blog https://lnkd.in/gGbhmdsS and keep an eye on our socials for more info coming very soon! #SBX2025 #SBXConference

??The BOC program is currently recruiting subject matter experts, stakeholders, and others involved in the buildings operations and maintenance industry for its Certification Advisory Commission (CAC) and subcommittees (Exam Development & Maintenance, Scheme, Nominating, and Appeals). ?? The CAC represents a broad spectrum of industry leaders whose goal is to advise Building Potential on its process to align the BOC program with the ANAB ISO/IEC standard 17024. The CAC meets quarterly and committees meet at least once annually but sometimes more frequently as needed. The terms are 2 years and can be extended for a maximum of 3 terms or 6 years. The document linked here (https://ow.ly/2xB050UEy6c) further outlines the purpose and responsibilities of the CAC and subcommittees. If you are interested in serving on the CAC and/or subcommittees, please send Britton Rife ([email protected]) a bio or resume and which committee(s) are of interest.
