Today begins the busiest travel day of the year and to all the LinkedIn parents with breastmilk, formula or milk in tow through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) lines--we are here to remind you of your rights as mom or dad feeding an infant on the go. 1. Formula, pumped breastmilk in liquid or frozen form, or pouches more than 3.4oz are considered medically necessary and allowed in carry-ons without a plastic bag. 2. TSA may test liquids but not place anything in them. If you prefer no x-rays than additional screenings may be done. 3. Inform TSA agents to remove items for separate screening. Use clear bottles when possible for easier screening. 4. Cooling accessories like icepacks are allowed with or without breastmilk. Getting all TSA agents trained and informed on how to properly handle an infant's food through screening is the key part of the BABES Enhancement Act proposed to Congress. We're teaming up with Willow Innovations, Inc. to advocate for this bill and encourage our community of parents to share their stories and write a letter in support of passing the BABES Act to their lawmakers.     ?? ?? Bobbie x National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) ?? ?? We're proud to be the official infant feeding partner of the National Women's Soccer league, championing the moms on the field and the parents behind the scenes elevating women's sports here in the U.S. This past weekend we supported lactation and feeding rooms at the National Championship Game and look forward to bringing them across the League over the next two years. We know that babies are not a barrier to overcome but can lead to our highest accomplishments. Together with the NWSL, we're rewriting the playbook for what it means to be a soccer mom. ????

    We are grateful to work with brands to build a better future together. When Cocoon, a leave management software, approached us about doubling down on their participation in our N.O. Support Grants Coalition and Parents Push Harder campaign in support of paid leave, we knew exactly how they could help. Earlier this month, Cocoon announced, that in partnership with Bobbie for Change, they have donated $1 for every leave managed in Cocoon since they launched in 2021. That means $10,000 is going to our three partner non-profits fighting for paid leave: Moms First, Chamber of Mothers, and Paid Leave for All.     For our fifth year in a row, we are honored to support women impacted by breast and gynecologic cancer who cannot breastfeed with a free year of Bobbie as part of our Bobbie Breasties program with the incredible non-profit, The Breasties ?? Since we launched our company, we have now supported more than 300 babies from first sip to first birthday. And now we welcome another 122 mothers + 124 babies (two sets of twins!) to this incredibly inspiring community. And at Bobbie, we won’t just give on their behalf—we fight on their behalf. In the US, insurance offers free breast pumps but will not cover formula or donor milk for these survivors and previvors. We’re ready to change that and we’re hoping 2025 is our year (just watch to see what’s next)! This program is only possible because of YOU; our parents across the US who choose Bobbie to nourish their babies.     We'll say it until we are blue in the face: this was never JUST about powdered milk. We are here to completely shift narratives about how we feed our babies, and we aren't afraid to ruffle a few feathers to drive change. There is still work to do to help breastfeeding moms feel supported, especially when it comes to feeding in public.
