Our acquisition strategy is to create a portfolio with a cohesive footprint that can gain operational efficiencies by using the optimal form of management to increase revenues and occupancy, while reducing expenses. Our Development Division’s pipeline is geared towards high-barrier to entry, infill markets and high-density submarkets throughout the Southeastern United States. In these markets we seek to develop Class A, multi-story, climate controlled properties designed to be respectful of the local architecture and viewed as an amenity to the community.

For Women's History Month, we want to honor how much Dixie Zuger has contributed to our Boardwalk history. Now VP of Operations and Asset Management, she has been with us since the beginning, and deserves every accolade we can give. Dixie joined Boardwalk in 2017 as a Property Manager, quickly taking occupancy from 72% to 100% on her first property, and named MSM’s Manager of the Year in 2019. Advancing to Area Manager and then Director of Operations, she oversaw 20 Property Managers and 25 Facilities. Known for her expertise in training, operations, and structured processes, Dixie has been key to Boardwalk’s growth, making it more productive and cost-effective, and making Boardwalk “A Step Above In The Storage Business”. #womenshistorymonth #selfstorage #storageowners #storage
