What can our microbes do in 30 days? Reduce PFAS levels by 94% at an oil refinery in California. (77.51 PPB to 4.9 PPB.) Reduce PCBS by 86% at a former chemical manufacturing site in Richmond, California. (33PPM to 2.8 PPM.) And in 60 days? Reduce PAH levels by 65% at a former oil refinery in Bay Point, California. (6,590 PPM to 2,280 PPM.) Bioremediation used to be a slow, long path to site closure. With BluumBio products, you can achieve remediation goals in months, not years. Here’s to nature’s enzymes cleaning up society’s problems. #bioremediation #innovation #sustainability #nature #pfas #pah #pcbs #microbes

In December, we spent two incredible weeks in Australia meeting the team at Rio Tinto (Nicholas Gurieff, Edwin Cheang, Pekka Santasalo, Les Delaforce, Sarah Carroll). Over the past four months we've learned a great deal about the challenges faced in restoring legacy sites and opportunities where innovation can really make a difference. We’re impressed by Rio Tinto's commitment to sustainability and goal of returning legacy sites in WA to traditional owners. We were also delighted to meet the Founder's Factory team in person (henry lane fox, George Northcott, Damian Routley, Olivia Brooks) and the other founders in the first mining tech accelerator cohort. I'd like to personally thank Tamryn Barker and Charlotta Kemp for making this trip possible with a toddler. I've never felt so supported as a female founder. There was definitely a work-heavy trip but we'll never forget our 6 am walks to Stomp! (best coffee in Perth!), surprise Christmas fireworks, and a Sunday trip to beautiful Cottesloe beach. Looking forward to what this New Year holds. Katherine

Meet Bluum Delta, a new way to remove PFAS's from endangered environments. The catch is there is no catch. No toxic side effects. Simply add water to our product, and tell those forever chemicals nothing lasts forever.??#nature #science #bioremediation #enzymes? #sustainability #pfas

Over the last 4 years, we’ve been working diligently to help solve one of the most perilous predicaments our planet will face in the next millennia. With over 2,000 microbes discovered and sequenced, and 5 active product development pipelines, we’ve recently launched 2 products publicly after rigorous internal and external validation. At the center of it all, our mission, to help nature restore itself so we can keep calling earth our home.

True remediation isn’t just burying the contaminated soil. True remediation isn’t just treating one contaminant at a time. True remediation is better for nature and better for society. With BluumBio, you can treat complex sites and derisk the future of any site, by restoring it. Nature, restored by nature. #EarthDay
