Blumhouse commissioned a study on the state of horror to understand viewing habits pertaining to the genre and fan favorite horror films and subgenres. The study revealed that nearly half of the respondents watch scary movies all year long and only 6% wait until Halloween to watch a horror film. https://lnkd.in/gvtavbki

That's a wrap on New York Comic Con! The BlumFest panel unveiled an expansive 2025 slate for Blumhouse and treated attendees to many exclusive first looks and Q&A's. Highlights include the "Wolf Man" trailer debut with director Leigh Whannell, a first look at Christopher Landon's "Drop" with Meghann Fahy, hitting theaters in April, and Jaume Collet-Serra's "The Woman in the Yard". Allison Williams gave exciting insight on what fans can expect from "M3GAN 2.0" and shared a special message from NYCC attendees from M3GAN herself. Mike Flanagan sat down for a fire-side chat with Jason Blum to discuss "The Exorcist" and upcoming sequels "Black Phone 2" and "Five Nights At Freddy's 2" while Blumhouse's first game, "Fear The Spotlight," showcased its trailer. We have partnered with Peacock to take over the infamous Stanley Hotel located in Estes Park, Colorado, for a weekend-long immersive experience called OVERNIGHTMARE. From Oct. 18 to Oct. 20, guests can book rooms based on one of four Blumhouse films: "Insidious," "The Purge," "Happy Death Day," and "Freaky."
