Read more from Eli Chavez at BostInno who spoke with our partners at Lowell General Hospital about their participation in BlueWave's most recent portfolio of projects. As an anchor customer for two project sites, they are helping to enable low-income residents to engage in clean energy opportunities – specifically, eliminating a financial barrier to support in-state clean energy generation and, in turn, lowering utility bills! https://bit.ly/3Xeliwk

Protecting the planet by transforming access to renewable energy.
关于我们
BlueWave's vision is to protect our planet by transforming access to renewable energy. As a pioneering renewable energy company that develops and owns solar and battery storage projects, BlueWave has developed and built more than 150 MW of solar projects to date and is actively developing battery storage projects to ensure our grid is reliable and efficient in a clean energy future. As built, these projects collectively generate enough solar energy to avoid more than 144,000 metric tons of carbon emissions annually. BlueWave is proud to be a certified B Corp, recognized by B Labs as "Best in the World" in Governance.

I loved seeing the great folks at the American Solar Grazing Association (ASGA) spreading the word about #agrivoltaics and #solargrazing at #REPlus24! It was fun to watch fellow solar folks get so excited about the amazing potential of agriculture and solar working together. Shout out to Array Technologies for making an agrivoltaic-friendly tracker, which we deployed on some recent BlueWave projects. For anyone who wants to get more involved, check out SAFA (https://lnkd.in/gWJiG6-s)!

Did you know we're in wild blueberry season in Maine? The season is typically from late July to early September and viable in an agrivoltaics setting. In 2021, BlueWave developed a solar project over an existing wild blueberry field which is still around today thanks to innovative building techniques that preserved the vegetation. Read more about the project and our partners in an article originally published to Energy News Network: https://bit.ly/4e2esBb

Today, we officially unveiled a portfolio of five projects across the state of Massachusetts that incorporate innovative dual-use solar style and operate under the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) Program. Our CEO and Co-Founder Trevor Hardy says it best, "As a Boston-based company and certified B Corp, serving our surrounding communities is in our DNA and continues to be the driving force behind the solar development decisions we make."
