Bluewater Studio is excited to share that we are beginning the development of an interpretive exhibition for the Battle of Franklin Trust at their new Carter House Visitor Center & Museum. In collaboration with our design partner, WeatherstonBruer Associates, our team is leading the planning, design, fabrication, and installation of this 1,900-square-foot exhibit, set to open in 2026. The visitor center aims to provide an immersive experience, deepening guests' understanding of one of the most pivotal and devastating conflicts in the Civil War's Western theater. Engaging visitors with elements that are both?informative and interactive, the exhibition will explore what led up to the battle, military strategies and combat on the grounds, the enduring effects of the Civil War on communities, and the impact of the war on the lives of those who lived through it. These are some of our signature projects, from most recently completed and into 2026: ·?????Mars Global Innovation Center- Three floors of environmental branding produced and installed by our team. ·?????Flyover Chicago- A new experience on Navy Pier, with a ticketing and entry experience produced by our team. ·??????Oneida Nation Museum- Production of this 4,000-square-foot exhibition begins this month and will continue into 2026. ·?????Museum of the Rockies- A complex dinosaur exhibition featuring over 100 specimens, set to be installed this year. ·?????Battle of Franklin Trust- Development of visitor center exhibits will continue into 2026. This Veteran's Day, Siouxland Freedom Park is holding a ceremony?that features?a Presentation of the Colors, a 21-gun salute, and the solemn notes of Taps to pay tribute to those who have served. ? Bluewater Studio is proud to have worked with the Siouxland Freedom Park, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring American veterans and providing education about the role our military plays in preserving?America’s?freedom. ? A team led by Bluewater Studio produced, fabricated, and installed exhibits in the 3,700-square-foot Brigadier General Bud and Doris Day Interpretive Center. The exhibits explore and honor the deeply personal experience of military service and the lasting impact and personal cost of this service. ? Life-sized graphics of construction equipment produced by our team for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) headquarters. Well-executed design details like these graphics for the AEM office space help express brand identity and add visual interest to the spaces we all work in. Our work for this facility also included include a large crane truss replica in AEM’s signature red, several recessed niches to display equipment models, a cafe experience wall, and several other graphic applications. Our project for UChicago Medicine is a wonderful example of how human-forward healthcare design can change how you feel going to the doctor and create a welcoming, tranquil experience for patients. The Perkins&Will Branded Environments team designed a space that is bright, dynamic, and inspired by the natural beauty of nearby Lake Michigan, all with the goal of removing the clinical feel from a doctor's visit. Bluewater Studio was selected to manage, engineer, fabricate, and install this innovative design, which included 3form feature walls, LED seating nooks cycling through a series of nature-inspired colors, and a large-scale suspended art piece made from 400 translucent colored acrylic squares. Every detail, color, sample, and fit-and-finish was meticulously considered and evaluated during the final production process, resulting in a waiting lounge that is both beautiful and patient-focused. #bluewaterstudio #perkinsandwill #uchicago #humanforwarddesign #humancentereddesign #healthcaredesign #healthcarelobby
