We recently had the opportunity to attend the NeighborWorks Housing Solutions Opening Doors, Changing Lives Gala at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy! The event raised money for rental assistance, emergency financial help, shelter and homelessness prevention, first-time homebuyer education and counseling, and construction and management of high-quality rental housing across southern Massachusetts. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of creating holiday cards for patients receiving care at Sturdy Health in #AttleboroMA! Lead by Lynn and Barbara of the Hospital’s Volunteer Services department, our team was hands-on at six different stations—creasing, stamping, assembling, and packaging over 140 cards! Aside from being a great team-building activity, the event was a lovely opportunity to spread a little bit of joy to those spending the holiday season in the hospital. Massachusetts Nonprofit Network (MNN) held its Annual Conference yesterday in Worcester at the DCU Center! One of the largest gatherings of nonprofit professionals in the state, the day-long event included wide ranging workshops, networking opportunities, and the presentation of Lifetime Achievement Awards.
