#TransformationTuesday? This patient in their early 60’s was referred to Dr. Relation from one of their friends whom he also treated. They had suffered for many years with a significant bunion which was made even worse due to their metatarsus adductus deformity. The patient was looking for options for correction and a speedy recovery. Dr. Relation was able to perform a 3-2-1 Mini-Adductoplasty? / Mini-Incision Lapiplasty? 3D Bunion Correction and second hammertoe repair. The patient was able to bear weight within 2 weeks of surgery in a CAM walker and was back in a sneaker within 8 weeks of the procedure! Images are 4 months post op. “The fact that my foot was basically reconstructed, there was minimal pain post surgery and very small incisions were made. For correction, Dr. Relation performed the Micro-Lapiplasty? procedure. Dr. Relation was able to achieve excellent 3D Bunion Correction? through a 2cm incision resulting in a significantly smaller scar than a traditional Lapiplasty? procedure.
