With deep sadness, we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Catherine Gamboa. Catherine was an integral part of the Blue River Technology family, bringing passion, dedication, and a relentless drive for Machine Learning education across Blue River and John Deere globally. Her contributions were not only pivotal to our success but also left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working with Catherine. Her teaching spirit, unwavering commitment, and kind heart will be greatly missed by all of us. During this difficult time, our thoughts are with Catherine’s family and loved ones. We extend our deepest condolences and support to them. Rest in peace, Catherine. You will be deeply missed, but your impact and spirit will live on in all of us. ??
Hello friends and colleagues, This is John, Catherine's husband. It is with supreme sadness that I share the news that Catherine passed away on Tuesday, 5 Nov after 11 years fighting cancer.?I'm very grateful to the medical team that supported her, but the cancer that she had was a tenacious variant that we could not defeat.?Catherine and I would have been married for forty years on 29 Dec this year, so we shared our youth and best years of our lives together for which I am supremely grateful. I also must share with you how much Catherine absolutely loved working for Blue River Technology and John Deere. She loved the mission, the people, and the accomplishments that the collaborative project teams achieved. I want to thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and friendship with Catherine. We have received an outpouring of love and support as the news of Catherine's loss has gotten out.?We are bolstered and inspired by the love that people feel for Catherine.?Thank you to all. Eventually, this account will be archived. If you would like to contact me, my e-mail is [email protected]. Sincerely, John Gamboa
