Our project on marine plastic pollution, Island Guardians: For a Plastic-Free Med, funded by the EU via the Remedies Consortium, was “recognized for its holistic approach, combining beach cleanups with well-structured educational programmes, including toolkits, books, and an art exhibition.” ?? The Society4Med Award, launched in collaboration with CNR, FVA, La Saison Bleue and WWF, aims to showcase the societal commitments of Mediterranean organisations towards the EU’s Mission: Restore Our Ocean and Waters and to present actions and initiatives which contribute to the Mission’s objectives. ??
