Around this time last year, I was working on building Bluem Design with my partner Dan Forbes, while simultaneously exploring full time roles elsewhere. I wasn't sure there would be a full time role within Bluem Design for me, but we were working towards that, and in June 2024, I officially came on board full time.
Over the course of 2024, we had the opportunity to work with tech and scientific companies ranging from startups to established corporations, hired full time and project specific team members, and learned to navigate all aspects of running a small and agile brand experience, design and operations firm.
I am particularly proud of the way we've ridden the waves of ambiguity with our clients and supported their individual and team goals and needs. A great deliverable is a given, we have an incredibly seasoned and talented team, but it's the looking around corners, considering strategy with each pixel and supporting not just business goals but the team leader and the executing team where we provide the most impact.
