Good news to share!?Our Spout Springs Mitigation Bank has been approved and construction by Bluegrass Stream, LLC will be starting this spring. Our first approved bank in Kentucky, the Spout Springs Mitigation Bank, will?provide 42,961 AMUs in Service Area 7*, accomplished through stream restoration that will include the development of riffle-pool sequences, riparian corridor restoration and/or establishment, and the addition of detritus and epifaunal substrates to the streams.?Designed and permitted by BEAVER CREEK HYDROLOGY, LLC, the site will be permanently protected via a Conservation Easement.? *Service Area 7 is composed of all or portions of the following 24 counties: Anderson, Bath, Bourbon, Boyle, Casey, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Marion, Mercer, Montgomery, Nelson, Nicholas, Powell, Rockcastle, Scott, Washington and Woodford. ? #beavercreekhydrology #bluegrassstream #streamrestoration
