Please join us in welcoming Terry Ray Cochran, the newest board member of the Bluegrass Community Bankers Association! Terry serves as Vice Chairman, CEO, Executive Vice President, and Senior Lender at the Bank of Jamestown. We’re excited to have his expertise on the board!

It was a great week at the 2024 BCBA Annual Conference, "Horses, Hoops, & High Spirits." The spirit was high from the opening reception, and our great speakers included Congressman Andy Barr and State Representative Michael Lee Meredith. Thanks to Kentucky's Mr. Basketball, Travis Perry, for speaking to the attendees. Scholarships were given, and the gavel was passed from Edna Hughes of Lewisburg Banking Company to Doc Meredith at Lincoln National Bank. We ended the conference with a golf outing and a unique horse tour. Community banking is alive and well in the Commonwealth!

We’re thrilled to kick off the Bluegrass Community Bankers Association Annual Conference this Sunday in Lexington! Join us for 'Horses, Hoops, and High Spirits,' featuring special guest Travis Perry, 2024 KY Mr. Basketball and University of Kentucky recruit. Travis will attend and host an autograph session on Monday, August 18, where attendees can have up to two items signed. In addition to the autograph session, Travis will speak at the conference. We look forward to seeing you in Lexington for what promises to be an unforgettable event!

We are thrilled to announce that Rafael Pearson of CFSB, a distinguished member of BCBA, has been elected President of his class at the Barret School of Banking, securing his place on the Barret Board of Regents. We are incredibly proud of you, Rafael! #BCBAMembers?

The BCBA board had their state dinner this week while visiting our nation's capitol for the ICBA Capitol Summit.
