The Great American Smokeout encourages people to take a first step towards a smoke-free life. Recently, we rolled out a new chapter of our virtual health tool My Health Novel to help members with tobacco cessation. It’s no secret that smoking causes a lot of health problems, including cancer, heart disease, stroke and lung disease. This program reaches out to would-be quitters and helps them find a personalized path to quitting that works for them. Members can get started by taking a short health quiz in their My Health Toolkit online portal. It joins our other chapters of the program that address weight management, musculoskeletal health, women’s health, behavioral health and digestive health.
