***October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month!*** Ransomware attacks have become one of the biggest cybersecurity threats to both individuals and businesses. These attacks can encrypt your files and demand hefty payments for their release, causing financial loss, reputational damage, and business disruption. At BlueBridge Networks, we're dedicated to helping you stay safe in the digital world. Here are some essential tips to protect yourself and your business from ransomware: 1. Backup Your Data Regularly Ensure you have frequent backups stored securely off-site or in the cloud (with us ??). This allows you to restore your system without paying a ransom. 2. Use Strong, Unique Passwords Passwords are your first line of defense. Use strong passwords and enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) to add an extra layer of security. 3.
