It was fantastic to attend the Customer Relationship Management Conference (CRMC) in Chicago last week. Great attendance, energizing dialogue, informative presentations, and so well organized. Blue Boat Data presented with Wilson Sporting Goods on "Blending Heritage with Technology," underlying the theme of the conference of how emerging trends like AI are affecting customer marketing. I am excited by three key themes that ran through the conference: 1.The need to preserve humanity in an age of unprecedented tech acceleration. The pace of change is unlike any we have seen before, and we, as marketers, have to lead our teams and organizations to no longer operate with the mindsets of the past. The companies that embrace this acceleration will win. Sam Rad ?? (Samantha Radocchia) Rad shared her breakthrough thinking and research on this. 2. Companies are still struggling with (a lot of) data with no clear and efficient way to help them answer the most important questions. "We implemented strategy X - we can't clearly see how this is affecting customer behavior." 3. AI can create massive improvements in efficiency: faster decision-making and more time to focus on what truly matters: creativity and strategy.
