Bringing the LAMAR's Best Practises to the Classroom At LAMAR, we recently captured stunning underwater images to support BLUEAQUAEDU’s online courses on Mediterranean fish species and sustainable aquaculture. In collaboration with the Agricultural University of Athens, we are developing high-quality educational materials to enhance learning and make aquaculture more accessible to students, researchers, and professionals. ?? Real visuals, real impact. Our images will be used in coursework to illustrate fish species, farming techniques, and marine ecosystems—bridging science with education. Strengthening Collaboration for Sustainable Aquaculture Education! ?? On February 3, 2025, BlueAquaEdu and SustainaBlue met to explore collaboration in sustainable aquaculture education. ?? A key focus was the BlueAquaEdu Serious Game, an innovative tool designed to enhance learning in sustainable fish farming. ?? The discussion also centered on expanding collaboration with institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia: Strengthening Collaboration in Indonesia & Malaysia: ?Integrating the game into university curricula. ?Establishing Sustainable Blue Economy Centres. ?Promoting student & faculty exchanges. ?Fostering joint research on sustainable aquaculture technologies. Our partner organised the project's second Summer School from 12 to 15 November 2024! ?? The aims of this Summer school were to: -Provide the fundamentals of aquaculture and aquaculture production systems;? -Learn about the opportunities offered by the blue sector. ?
