Following outdated deliverability tactics? You could be hurting your brand’s reach more than helping. Deliverability is more than just “playing it safe.” If your email strategy is based on?outdated tactics, you may be limiting your own inbox reach. In fact, 1 in 6 emails never make it to the inbox (Validity). Why? Because strategies like relying solely on “safe” send times or avoiding bold subject lines limit engagement, making ISPs less likely to prioritize your emails. Deliverability is about balancing strong technical practices with bold, customer-centric messaging that drives opens and clicks. It’s time to rethink deliverability beyond just compliance. Test innovative deliverability techniques, such as frequency capping for less-engaged subscribers and re-engagement campaigns that provide a “snooze” option. Frequency capping involves reducing email frequency for low-engagement subscribers to help maintain a healthy sender score. Meanwhile, a “snooze” option can refresh engagement by allowing recipients to pause emails temporarily instead of unsubscribing. If you’re noticing unexpected discrepancies in your Seller Central Transaction Report or Financial Events API data, you’re not alone.? Last month, Amazon introduced the Deferred Transactions Report in an effort to provide more visibility into the funds that they reserve -- however – it has also added a new layer of complexity for sellers. Amazon’s update reserves payment on orders until seven days after delivery, affecting your POS/ERP reports and even showing negative net sales for certain periods in the transaction report and Financial Events API. For brands using financial events as their key data pipeline or transaction reports as their reporting input, this shift can have a huge impact.? I recently sat down with Sreenath Reddy, Founder of Intentwise, Inc. to discuss the implications of this for brands. If you’re seeing negative net sales in the Financial Events API or 0 product sales in the Transaction Report, have a listen: https://lnkd.in/gx6AV_nT It is worth noting that there are manual ways to get this information out of Seller Central, described below:?? - Go to Transaction View and filter down to deferred transactions, hit update, it will give you all the deferred transactions that exist. In this transaction report, it will also give you a forecast (Payment Release Date) of when they’ll pay it.?? - Go into Reports Repository and get your Deferred Transactions as well. It is a lengthy report, but you can download all of the transactions.
