Our professional esports player, youxme with Aya Miyama, who was a key player in Japan’s 2011 World Cup-winning team. She also won gold at the 2010 Asian Games and silver at the 2012 Olympics. From 2012 to 2016, she captained the national team, leading with skill and composure until her retirement. While she didn’t win domestic titles, Miyama was a prolific midfielder, scoring over 100 goals during her time with Okayama Yunogo Belle. Now, Aya Miyama has been added as a new card in EA SPORTS giving fans the chance to celebrate her legacy in the game.

We are delighted to announce that the Blue United Corporation, which operates the professional esports team, Blue United eFC powered by Manchester City (BLU eFC), has signed a partnership agreement with JINS Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ryo Tanaka) for the 2024-25 season. JINS Inc. operates the eyewear brand “JINS” with the vision to “Magnify Life,” which aims to enrich and improve people’s lives. The idea of creating a future where everyone can lead a better and more fulfilling life through the eyewear business aligns with our club’s initiatives, leading to the decision of this partnership. Through this agreement, we aim to emphasize the value of both companies’ brands, products, and services, and we will explore further collaborations. JINS Eyewear US, Inc.

The PIA Sports Business Program recently held its Homecoming Day, uniting alumni from the inaugural first class to the latest fourth graduating class. This program, a collaborative initiative between Pia Corporation—the largest ticketing agency in Japan—and Blue United Corporation, aims to provide foundational knowledge and practical insights into the sports business. The event featured an induction ceremony for participants who secured positions in the sports industry after completing the program, as well as a career panel discussion. Our CEO, Takehiko Nakamura who also serves as a permanent lecturer for the program, had the honor of speaking at the panel. Reflecting on the program’s humble beginnings, it’s truly heartwarming to witness the growth of this remarkable community. While the Tri-State area is home to a vibrant Japanese community of over 100,000 residents, a dedicated soccer school rooted in Japanese culture has been long overdue. Today, we’re proud to fill this gap with a unique program crafted by former Japanese national team players, MLS stars, J.League professionals, and experienced college soccer coaches. At Blue United FC Academy NYC, we’re committed to offering children aged 5-13 a soccer experience like no other. Our program emphasizes values inherent to Japanese culture: a strong work ethic, attention to detail, teamwork, respect for hierarchy, professionalism, and relationship building. JSPIN (Japan SPorts business INitiative) serves as a vital platform fostering collaboration between the Japanese and global sports industries. Blue United had the honor of hosting the Graduation Ceremony for the 4th edition of the PIA ぴあ(株) Sports Business Program, where our CEO Takehiko Nakamura serve as Head Lecturer and Kazuo Taguchi as the administrative side.
