We could not be happier to see the dramatic increase in initiatives to encourage women and young girls to explore skilled trade careers. However, it is often difficult to measure the effectiveness of these programs, and much of the fruit of these initiatives will not bear for years to come. As a whole, the construction industry is made up of about 11% women, but only about 3% of field roles are held by females. The labor gap will not be filled if our industry does not make it easier for women, Veterans, and young people to explore and ultimately launch trade careers. This is why we're proud to offer a channel that allows all qualified individuals to get their foot in the door. By not showing simple features like profile photos, names, or even email addresses, but instead focusing on the skills, certifications, and licenses that matter in our industry, employers can easily connect with the talent their teams demand for growth.
