Welcome Calvin Muusse! This marks the first in a series of posts introducing the editors on our roster. Calvin is an editor with a deep background in design and fast-paced production. Calvin previously led creative on a series of URBAN ARMOR GEAR (UAG) projects, including this one for competitive runner, Rio Lakeshore. We are so amped to have Calvin on the team! Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to help produce a 6-part mini docuseries with SCS for Visit Laguna Beach called 'Radical Origins', about the countercultural art movements that shaped the city of Laguna Beach into the iconic destination it's become known to be. The series premiered at the historic Laguna Beach Theater, recently renovated and remodeled by Rivian, who hosted the event. It was an amazing night seeing the community of Laguna Beach come out to celebrate their iconic city and remember the values that made the city what it is and was. A couple weeks later, the series was honored with several ADDY awards. Above are a couple moments from the events. In the coming weeks, we'll be featuring some clips from each episode. Stay tuned! It's been two years since we officially opened our doors for business and we are thrilled to announce the next iteration of Blue Note Post. As of today, we're excited to report the launch of our new website showcasing a new logo, branding, and a roster of highly talented and experienced editors ready to dive into the next phase of collaboration under our refined post-production infrastructure. The new logo, as seen in the video above, was inspired by the free form improvisational approach so representative of jazz. Similarly, we strive to approach each project with an improvisational mindset that empowers directors and artists to breathe new life into their work during the final stages of a project.
