????? The third edition of Veneto stars focuses on the Blue and Space Economy, two strategic sectors for sustainability and technological innovation. Young Europeans (18-25) are invited to develop innovative solutions using #spacedata and satellite technologies to address challenges such as marine resource management, coastal protection, and #marine renewable energy. The top 10 teams will present their ideas at Space Meetings Veneto in May before a jury including experts from ESA, ASI, Copernicus User Forum, and Italian universities. The winning team will receive a fully funded innovation week in Veneto to develop their project! ?? Applications open February–April 2025:

Several of the projects financed by the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership are in Brussels this week for the #EUOceanDays and the #BlueInvest Day ?? Natalia M?hle from Aquabalance - Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership and Ruth Higgins from ARCFISH met with Partnership colleagues at its Brussels office. ?? Among the issues discussed were practical tips to pitch ideas to funders and other steps towards #commercialisation of the solutions developed in the projects. #BlueEconomyEU

At #EUOceanDays, discussions on the future of Europe's oceans took centre stage. On Day 2, the Mission Restore Our Ocean and Waters Annual Forum served to assess progress and define next steps towards the 2030 targets ?? During a panel on strategic milestones, Margherita Cappelletto represented the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research on how to deliver on the Mission until 2030 and beyond. She underscored the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership's role in supporting Mission objectives. ?? By building synergies between co-funded projects and #EUMission initiatives, promoting a coordinated sea-basin approach, and activating #funding, we aim to secure long-term impact and help translate commitments into action.
