Lead?finance project manager Magdalena is not only a role model for her team here at #BCBSRI, but also for caregivers everywhere. As she balances her professional and personal responsibilities, she keeps one mantra in mind: “We do what needs to be done.” This mindset is one of the many reasons why Magdalena’s colleagues have recognized her as a 2025 “Shero.”

Meet our next “Shero,” Sonia. She’s known among her peers for her leadership, mentorship, and commitment to public service. When asked about the importance of #WomensHistoryMonth, Sonia shared, “Women's History Month is important because it allows us to honor our heroes: the women who have contributed to our past, present and future society.” Thank you for making #LifeAtBCBSRI better and brighter, Sonia!

Team #BCBSRI is celebrating Black History Month by supporting our community. Our Black Council @ Blue employee group coordinated this volunteer opportunity for our associates to create (birthday) art from the heart for Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island clients. ????? #BCBSRICommunity??

Today, we welcomed community guests to Your Blue Store in Cranston to hear from a panel of young women, our friends at the Women's Fund of Rhode Island, and our friends from the Girl Scouts of Southern New England. They shared the findings of their first-ever Rhode Island Girls Report—a collection of data that can help our community better understand the factors that impact the health and well-being of girls in our state. We were proud to collaborate with the #WFRI and other local community organizations to support this initiative. #2025RIGirlsReport
