Yesterday, our Medicaid team held a mobile mammography event at our Phoenix campus. They also distributed 89 turkeys and food bags! ?? It was an awesome turnout and we are so glad our community is living our mission to Inspire Health. ?? One of the attendees said, “I have been procrastinating in getting my mammogram. Apparently, my last one was in 2013. I did not realize it had been so long. Being able to get my mammogram done and to get a free turkey, you just do not know what it means to my family. Exciting times ahead! Our team recently toured the Phoenix Starfish Place, a community dedicated to the healing and empowerment of human trafficking survivors. This partnership is in conjunction with the Arizona State University Office of Sex Trafficking Intervention Research, the City of Phoenix Housing, Dunlap & Magee, and Community Bridges. AZ Blue is proud to have provided funding to support the program and housing. We look forward to helping families get back on their feet.
