Yesterday was the perfect weather for some chili! Blue Cord had a pretty competitive (and tasty!) 3rd annual?#chilicookoff! Huge thanks to?Eric Dodson,?John Sandstrom, Jon Kilgore,?Lindsay Kilgore, Timothy Kansy, John Hoibraten Jr, LEED AP, Crystal Hoibraten and?Nicci Dillon?for providing the delicious chili and cornbread. Michael Waldrop?had a pretty tough time deciding on the winner, but?Timothy Kansy?ultimately took home the grand prize! Homemade chili, cornbread, football, and friends and family made for an excellent afternoon. Happy Halloween, from Blue Cord!

Blue Cord has been honored with an Award of Merit from ABC of Central Florida’s Excellence in Construction Awards for the expansion of Building 13 – New Research Space at the Lake Nona VA Medical Center. The 22,000-SF addition to the second floor is a critical space supporting the VA’s national clinical simulation efforts, advancing training, and setting new standards in medical simulation. Our team took on the unique challenges of this project, including working within an occupied facility and seamlessly integrating into the existing structure. We are immensely proud of this project and are grateful to our team for their hard work in making it a success!
