High SKU Counts are Our Specialty! Apparel and footwear are a potential nightmare for a warehouse set up to process orders with only a few SKUs. With clothing coming in many styles in a variety of colors of each style, along with many sizes per style, having hundreds of SKUs on an order is normal. At Blue Chip Fulfillment this is what we do. One of our main goals at Blue Chip Fulfillment is to be a partner. The only way for a business to grow, is to have the right partners in place. Here is what happened recently and how we dealt with it. We received displays from overseas that were supposed to be filled and shipped to a retailer. Problem was that there was no plan from the factory as to how to enclose the finished display to protect the product during shipping until it reaches the floor. (Typically we would be given a HSC, pallet shrouds, etc..) With no time to order the correct material, we spent many hours testing numerous options until we finally found the best solution. While research was not what they signed up for, they knew that we are here to help them succeed. In this case it included some R&D to find the best solution.
