Last night's Goddard Memorial Dinner, #SpaceProm, was an extraordinary event. As President of the National Space Club & Foundation, I had the privilege of serving as the Master of Ceremonies, providing me with a front-row seat to all the action, and the best view of our great audience. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us, contributing towards supporting and celebrating our next generation of aerospace professionals. Congratulations to our keynote scholar, Sohum Goutam, whose keynote address impressed all in attendance. Sohum is just getting started, but already has so many accomplishments that I could not list them all! Congratulations to our distinguished recipient of the Goddard Trophy, Gen. Lester Lyles, whose career is really the equivalent of 10 careers in one! Impressive does not begin to describe his path. And finally, congratulations to all our awardees for their outstanding contributions to our community: Mr. Karl Eager, Mr. Kevin Simmons, Dr. Soren Madsen, our student runner-up Divya Krishna, Ms. Gina Sunseri, the SpaceX team represented by Ms. Stephanie Bednarek, Ms. Julie Kramer White, and Major William Elder.
