See information below: Job Title: Behavior Technician Department: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Location: Los Angeles County, California Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)? or Clinical Manager? Job Type: [Full-time/Part-time] Job Summary: The Behavior Technician at Blooming Child Development is a vital member of our Applied Behavior Analysis team, responsible for providing direct one-on-one behavior therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disorders. The BT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or? Clinical Manager? to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and contribute to the overall success of our ABA programs. Responsibilities: Client Interaction: Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients as per individualized treatment plans. Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA or? Clinical Manager. Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect and record behavior data during sessions. Summarize and report data to the supervising BCBA or Clinical Manager. Collaboration: Collaborate with the BCBA or Clinical Manager to develop and modify behavior intervention plans based on ongoing assessments. Communicate effectively with team members and families to ensure consistency in treatment strategies. Training and Professional Development: Attend and actively participate in regular supervision and team meetings. Complete required training and ongoing professional development as mandated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and session notes. Ensure compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements. Behavior Management: Implement positive behavior support strategies to address challenging behaviors. Work collaboratively with the BCBA or Clinical Manager to refine and adjust behavior intervention plans as needed. Certification Maintains annual recertification (Required for RBTs) Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disorders is preferred but not required. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow and implement behavior intervention plans. Basic knowledge of ABA principles and techniques. Working Conditions: This position involves working directly with individuals with autism spectrum disorder in various settings, including homes, schools, and community locations. Physical demands may include bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
