This week BLOOM continued distributions of food, water, and baby formula throughout the Gaza strip. Despite the risks, our team from Haya Washington has made heroic efforts to continue providing much needed aid. BLOOM is continuing to provide distributions of food and water to displaced families in Gaza. We are reaching the more remote areas in which aid is scarce. Over the last week, we have been able to provide higher quality food (including meat as a source of protein) to the chidlren and families in displacement camps around Rafah and Khan Yunis. ??Additionally, this week’s psychosocial support programs were more focused and intentional - we are hosting smaller groups and guiding the facilitators on how to make an even greater impact on the children’s mental health and development. ??We are continuing to explore opportunities to develop more sustainable programs, bridge the gap in education, and empower the people of Gaza. ??Please mark your calendars for an Instagram Live session on April 30th at 9 pm to learn even more about how the situation and our programs on the ground are adapting to the constantly changing situation.
