The final look at the S.A.F.E. House project is here! We’re thrilled to share a detailed look into the operation and capabilities of this immersive learning space, where kids experience fire and life safety training in the heart of Carmel's new Fire Department headquarters. Seeing the space come alive on launch night, filled with energy, excitement, and hands-on learning, was incredible! From realistic emergency simulations to engaging environments, the S.A.F.E. The S.A.F.E (Stay Alive Family Education) House had its grand opening in the Carmel Clay Community Building, hosted by the Carmel Fire Department. Located within the new headquarters, the S.A.F.E. House is an immersive learning space designed to teach kids essential fire and life safety skills. Set up like a mini-town complete with multiple buildings, a fire engine, and an ambulance, it’s an exciting place where safety meets adventure and imagination! In the S.A.F.E. House, kids don’t just learn about safety—they experience it. This space will offer realistic simulations of house fires, tornadoes, and other natural disasters, allowing children to engage all their senses through sights, sounds, and hands-on activities. It’s a dynamic environment where learning becomes an adventure, equipping the next generation with the knowledge they need to stay safe and thrive in any situation—and hopefully inspire the next generation of Carmel firefighters! We were honored to be represented at the Creative Summit during NBA All-Star weekend earlier this year. Founder Kevin Winkler and 3D Artist Alexander Nichols shared insights on advancing pipelines for installations by leveraging the intersection of technology and artistry, and how preserving architectural heritage is integral to our artistic approach. For the third consecutive year, Blockhouse Studios collaborated with Epson America Inc. to activate an array of breathtaking installations throughout their trade show booth at InfoComm Show 2024. This included true 8K original content to push their new 4K projectors to the max, artistic macro photography as a backdrop to live Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group performances, interactive media installations, 3D-perspective immersive installations, and beautiful artistic content all around the booth. We deployed and pushed all of the content through our incredibly reliable media server system. Many thanks to Epson for giving us an opportunity to work together once again, as well as to everybody who took the time to meet us at the booth and allow us to share with you our passion for our work!
