?? Honored to Share Our Win at the QuickNode Hackathon!?? I’m excited to share that our team, NYUBlockchainLab, has won the Best Use of Crypto Market Data Add-on at the QuickNode Hackathon with our project, NFTVerse! ?? Thanks to CoinAPI, we seamlessly integrated real-time crypto market data, enhancing the NFT marketplace experience with dynamic insights. What problem does NFTVerse solve? Navigating the digital asset ecosystem can be challenging, especially with the need to use multiple platforms for NFT generation and DeFi staking. NFTVerse simplifies this by providing a single platform where users can: ? Create AI-driven NFTs using custom prompts or their own graphics, powered by advanced AI. ? Stake NFTs for passive income through smooth DeFi integration. ? Visualize tokens with price effect insights and track assets across supported blockchain networks, making it easy to manage and maximize asset value. This $1,000 cash prize is a huge encouragement for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the recognition! ?? Big thanks to QuickNode and CoinAPI for their resources and support. Shoutout to Globalgear for their inspiring work as well! ?? Check out our live demo: https://lnkd.in/gD4Rmx2z ?? GitHub Repository: https://lnkd.in/gSx_3P95 ?? Today at the Blockchain Lab @ NYU, we got an exclusive look at Rodeo, the new social platform from the team behind Foundation. Unlike traditional social networks, Rodeo puts creators first, letting fans mint and collect posts—turning engagement into real support. Kayvon Tehranian (CEO & Co-founder) led an inspiring Zoom session, sharing the journey from Foundation’s NFT marketplace to Rodeo and how blockchain is transforming the creator-fan relationship. Meanwhile, Matthew Vernon (Chief Design Officer & Co-founder), Benjamin Ernest Abraham (Trust & Safety Lead), Junnie Kwon (Senior Marketing Manager), and Connor Barnett (Product Lead) were there in person, helping students onboard to the platform, answering questions, and guiding them through the process. We had the amazing opportunity to network with industry leaders and enjoy some amazing merch ranging from bucket hats to cool stickers, in the spirit of art! A big thanks to Danielle Skinner (People Lead) for helping us coordinate this and to everyone who participated in making this event a success. The future of Web3 for creators is here, and we can’t wait to see where it goes next! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And for more updates, don't forget to follow us!
