In partnership with Morehouse School of Medicine Center for Maternal Health Equity, we are honored to share the powerful stories of Black birthing people who faced and survived life-threatening complications during childbirth. These voices, captured as part of the MSM Center for Maternal Health Equity's study on Maternal Near Miss, speak to both resilience and the urgent need for equitable maternal health care. BLKHLTH guided the storyboarding of these impactful videos, with video editing by the talented Kyle Chattam ?? ???? We had our Centers for Disease Control and Prevention #HearHer?maternal health campaign resources, distributed at-home colorectal cancer screening kits, and shared The Advil Pain Equity Project patient advocacy guides - plus so much more! ?? From deep convos to big laughs, we loved connecting with y’all and celebrating what makes HBCUs legendary!

These two internationally renowned luminaries facilitated an evening of music, grounding breath-work, and liberatory practices for a unique and rejuvenating arts and mindfulness session. This Well-Being Concert at High Museum of Art was presented in collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute.
