?? Yesterday, new research on the prevalence of low back pain among bank workers in Ethiopia has been published in BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders. The study included 607 participants. Here are some of the key findings: ?? 55.2% of bank workers experience low back pain ?? 30% of employees who took leaves did so due to lower back pain ?? 70% of participants had no ergonomic training or awareness ?? Higher risk factors include managerial roles, older age, and lack of physical activity ?? Working in sufficient space and regular physical activity significantly reduce the risk. This study highlights the urgent need for ergonomic interventions and tools, health screening, and awareness programs to improve workplace health and productivity. ?
