The best way to sell ‘brand’ into the broader organization is to think of it as a ‘promise to the customer’. Brands that make promises which are valuable, memorable, and deliverable have a competitive advantage. It’s such a simple yet powerful way to reframe what a brand truly is. A brand isn’t just a logo, tagline, or color palette—it’s a?commitment. But here’s the catch: the promise is only as good as your ability to deliver on it. Think about some of the most iconic brands we know. They don’t just sell products—they fulfill promises. For any brand—big or small—the challenge isn’t just to make a promise, but to make it matter. Ask yourself: 1?? Is your brand’s promise valuable??Does it resonate with your customers and meet their needs? 2?? Is it memorable??Can your customers immediately associate your brand with its promise? 3?? And most importantly, is it deliverable??Are you consistently meeting and exceeding the expectations you set? When the answers to these questions align, your brand becomes more than just a name—it becomes a relationship rooted in trust. ? Our on-site photoshoot helped position Farnsworth as a showroom, highlighting unique, upcycled items to a niche audience. When the?Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO)?had a signature event, we had the pleasure of developing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy and brand activation for it. As an inclusive and culturally relevant community, the DSO strives to make music accessible to all. At the time, their?NextGen?initiative uniquely combined a ticket membership program with a volunteer leadership committee, specifically designed to attract and engage young professionals while cultivating the next generation of patrons. A while back, we had the opportunity to work with the?Michigan Science Center (MiSci)?on their incredible?STEMinista Project, an initiative aimed at inspiring young girls to see themselves in STEM fields. MiSci is a dynamic STEM hub that fosters discovery and hands-on learning through exhibits, programs, and science shows that explore the wonders of the natural and built world.
