At Blaze today we wore Red to support Go Red for Women Day! The annual national awareness campaign to raise awareness about heart disease in women, which is the leading cause of death for women in the US. The purpose of this day is to 1) educate women about the risks and symptoms of heart disease, 2) encourage women to take steps to improve their heart health and 3) raise funds for research and programs to combat heart disease in women.
