Blackweek 2024 is a first-of-its-kind marketing and innovation conference dedicated to creating greater equity for diverse professionals and founders in the advertising, media and tech and entertainment industries. Join us October 15-18 at Spring Studios in lower Manhattan, where we will convene some of the most profound voices in our industry to have real conversations on how to move our culture forward. This symposium was founded by a who’s-who of prominent Black and Latino advertising leaders. - Monique Nelson, Executive Chairman, UNIWORLD Group (UWG) - Walter T. Geer III, Chief Experience Design Officer, VML - Andre Gray, Chief Creative Officer, Annex 88 (Havas) - Adan Romero, Chief Creative Officer, FKA Publicis - Dabo Ché, Founder, CHé Creative - Gabrielle Shirdan, Founder and CEO, Kitchen Table - Joe Anthony, Founder and CEO, Hero Collective and Hero Media Blackweek will feature keynotes, conversations, panels, and breakout sessions with a variety of diverse leaders across marketing, media, tech, healthcare, entertainment and private equity. Programming content will be focused around helping diverse professionals to empower themselves and take greater control of maximizing their own equity in industries critical to their future. Blackweek is about taking action on how to deconstruct and reconstruct inclusion, and we invite all to join us.

    On average, Latinas earn only 51 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. Latinas face double discrimination based on both gender and race in the workplace. At the current rate of progress, it's estimated that Latinas won't achieve equal pay for another 432 years. These statistics underscore Latina workers' significant and persistent wage gap, highlighting the need for continued efforts to achieve pay equity. At Blackweek, we’re actively addressing the inequalities. Not only do women pay less at Blackweek but they pay even less today.
