In this way, we can create economic equity in outdoor recreation.

We would love to have you on board! Blackpackers' Board of Directors is growing and we have a Director position available, seeking someone who can combine their passionate and skills to help us create economic equity in outdoor recreation. What does that look like? We are an organization that meets those at the intersection of underrepresentation and economic vulnerability through a variety of avenues. We begin by providing gear, outdoor excursions, and outdoor education for free or at subsidized cost. Then further connect participants with volunteer opportunities, internships, jobs, and post-secondary education resources to create a pipeline from outdoor recreation to outdoor industry careers.
