Black parents across the valley, state, and nation are not feeling seen, heard, or understood by their child's teachers or school administrators. This lack of communication can be frustrating and has led some parents to seek help from third-party advocates. Communication between schools and parents can not be one-sided, and parents should not have to go to such lengths just to have their concerns and value acknowledged. It's time to recognize that Black parents are not invisible and their voices must be heard. #BlackParentsMatter #EducationEquity #BelongingandInclusion
