Placencia, Belize is making waves, literally! Residents are fighting back against illegal development on their beaches. Locals claim rocks were illegally placed, causing serious erosion. Unlike in Hopkins, where authorities helped, police in Placencia reportedly tried to stop residents, with some even drawing weapons! But the community is standing strong. ??
