Last night, I attended the “Have Your Say with Mayor Gray town hall meeting at the Northampton Community Center with one goal in mind—advocating for small business growth and economic development in Hampton. I went to let my voice be heard, but I left with so much more! Not only did I connect with key individuals, but I also had the opportunity to share my role as the City of Hampton Ambassador for Black BRAND, bringing awareness to valuable resources available to our business community. And to top it off, I was interviewed by WAVY 10’s Markeshia Jackson —a completely unexpected but exciting moment! A huge thank you to Mayor James "Jimmy" Gray for hosting this forum, allowing citizens to engage in meaningful conversations about Hampton’s past, present, and future.
