What a Fall Semester (and year) this has been for Black Boys in Tech! We launched 4 brand new programs, established 10 new sites, expanded our funding, and graduated 15 students from our Fall courses. On Saturday, December 2nd, we convened at the United Way of Greater Cincinnati to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, parents, and staff. We would like to publicly acknowledge and congratulate all of our students who competed one of our Fall courses: Intro to Robotics, Game Development for Kids, and Intro to Aviation. Congratulations to our Withrow Tech Club students for obtaining their Recreational Drone Pilot License and continuing with our year-long Unmanned Ariel Vehicle (UAV) Course. A special acknowledgment goes to our esteemed award recipients featured in the photos. We also would like to Thank our keynote speaker, LaTosha Ward of Business and Individual Development (BID), for delivering a powerful keynote speech and for the company’s generous donation to BBIT. Lastly, we would like to thank our sponsors, community partners, and parents for your unwavering support of our organization! Without you our mission would not be possible. #blackboysintech #bbit
