We had a blast curating this liberated moment for Jimmy Akingbola at the Fashion Institute of Technology!
"If you want to go fast, go alone. However, if you want to go far, go together." Every meaningful collaboration starts with a vision, a shared purpose, and an impactful moment. ThaCollabs was born from this belief: when we bring together incredible people, ideas, and experiences, the result is unforgettable. Here’s a 25-second glimpse of what that looks like: British actor Jimmy Akingbola experiencing his “liberated moment” on a private tour of the Africa Fashion Diaspora exhibition at the Fashion Institute of Technology Museum. This experience was curated through a collaboration with the Fashion Institute of Technology and BlackBand. Still, the real catalyst was sparked by the HACSA Sankofa Summit and Jimmy's invitation from Lady Danbury herself, Adjoa Andoh from Bridgerton.
