We are thrilled to announce that Mapping Black California (MBC) has received a $200,000 general operating grant from the Weingart Foundation! This support will enable us to continue empowering Black-led organizations (BLOs), especially in underfunded regions like the Inland Empire. The grant will enhance our data services, expand our flagship projects—The BLO Directory and the Combating Racism platform—and increase our capacity to drive social and economic equity. We are deeply grateful to the Weingart Foundation and all our partners for their continued support, with more exciting news to come this fall!
