  • Alright, folks—grab a cup of Just Black and settle in because we’ve got some big news. Black Rifle Coffee Company just added a heavy hitter to the squad. Kim Evanoff has joined BRCC as our new Chief Commercial Officer, reporting to CEO?Chris?Mondzelewski. Get excited because she’s got the kind of experience that makes her addition to the team a game-changer! Kim brings more than 20 years of retail, sales, and general management experience to BRCC, most recently serving as SVP of sales at Red Bull, where she led commercial strategy, revenue growth, and execution across food, mass, and warehouse club channels. Before that, she spent 17 years at SC Johnson, managing major national accounts like Target, Walmart, Dollar General, Sam’s Club, and even military channels—so she knows how to get the mission done. Her career has taken her from Cincinnati to New Zealand, where she has led teams, executed brand strategies, and developed future sales leaders along the way. At Red Bull, she delivered revenue growth, elevated strategic partnerships,?and executed brand strategy with distinction. Now, she’s bringing that firepower to BRCC, helping us fuel America’s Energy and take our mission to the next level. And if you’re wondering if?she's got the caffeine chops—Kim’s daily battle rhythm already includes Just Black in the morning and a can of Wild Frost in the afternoon, so yeah… she gets it. When she’s not driving brands to the top of the market, Kim’s holding down the fort in Franklin, TN, with her husband Nick, their three kids, and their English Bulldog, Gumbo (objectively an elite name for a dog). She spends her free time cheering from the sidelines of dance competitions, football, and basketball games—or out in the wild, hiking, running, and camping. And come Saturdays in the fall, she’s all about SEC football, repping both Texas A&M and the University of Tennessee—so you know she can handle high-stakes environments. We’re pumped to have Kim on board as we charge ahead in 2025. Drop her a warm BRCC welcome, and get ready—big things are coming. America your energy!

  • We've got some awesome news from the coffee world: Army veteran and friend of BRCC Nick Ginter just became a certified Q Grader ? ???? ?? You may know him from his social media account "Degenerates Drinking Coffee," which he started in 2019 after leaving the military. We asked Nick a few questions about how he followed his passion for the science behind the perfect cup of coffee, and how it brought him to where he is today. "Earning my Q- Arabica certification was my way of putting my money where my mouth is; I have portrayed myself on social media as someone who deeply respects quality and coffee producers, so earning my Q was a way to check myself on my knowledge and skill level, as well as prove to the coffee industry that I am not just a social media influencer, but a credible authority in the field. My goal now is to continue working with Black Rifle Coffee Company to promote an appreciation for what coffee is and why the preparation of it deserves respect." On how to elevate a cup of coffee from good to great: "The textbook answer is that a great cup of coffee has distinct, positive characteristics, a cupping score of 80 or higher, the TDS is between 1.15%-1.35%, the average extraction yield?percentage is 18%-22%, and ideally, has no taints or faults. My answer is in line with the cupping score sheet: great coffee should have pleasant fragrance and aroma, flavors and aftertaste, body, balance, acidity, uniformity, and sweetness." For years, the military gave me a sense of purpose—something bigger than myself, a team that relied on me, and a mission that mattered. That purpose didn’t just shape my career; it shaped who I am. As I transition out of the military, I’ve found that same sense of purpose at Black Rifle Coffee Company. Here, it’s not just about Coffee and Energy Drinks. It’s about the mission and community.
