On this day, 14 years ago, “The enemy initiated a daylight attack with hand grenades, one of which landed inside their sandbagged position. Without hesitation and with complete disregard for his own safety, Lance Cpl. Kyle Carpenter toward the grenade in an attempt to shield his fellow Marine from the deadly blast. When the grenade detonated, his body absorbed the brunt of the blast, severely wounding him, but saving the life of his fellow Marine.” Almost four years later, he received the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions that day. Kyle, you are inspiring to all of us.

We gathered over 50 Marines at Black Rifle Coffee Company headquarters to sing the Marine Corps hymn and cut an epic cake for the 249th birthday of the greatest fighting force the world has ever known! These Marines span generations, with veterans who fought everywhere from Iwo Jima to Fallujah, Sangin, and Helmand, and everywhere in between. This is what it’s all about, bringing people together over a cup of coffee, bonding over service in the process. Happy birthday, Marines! Stay caffeinated! ??????

20 years ago this month, Marines pushed into Fallujah, kicking off one of the bloodiest battles of the War on Terror. Jack Mandaville and Ryan Fitting both Marine Corps veterans themselves, interviewed 25 of these Marines over the past few months—many of them speaking about their experiences for the first time. Then they gathered video and photo documentation of the battle—much of it never released publicly before. The result of their efforts? They recorded not just Marine Corps history, but American history. “Warpigs: House to House in Fallujah” is live now on BlackRifleCoffee Company’s YouTube channel. This is the most important documentary you can watch this Veterans Day weekend. Semper Fi, Marines! Thank you for your bravery and incredible sacrifice. We will never forget. https://lnkd.in/gfDC_gjN

The aftermath of Hurricane Helene left so many small communities across Western North Carolina in mourning, believing their towns, or the towns they knew were gone. However, in the last few weeks and with the help of countless volunteers and organizations, they've seen that their home is more than just scenic views and iconic buildings. It's the people, the community, and the resilience of these mountain towns — something that a storm cannot take away. Black Rifle Coffee recognizes the grit and dedication it takes to survive something like Helene. Supporting first responders in towns like Pensacola, NC, is an honor.

On October 3rd, 1993, American forces fought their way through the streets of Mogadishu in a battle that we now remember as Black Hawk Down. Mike Durant, an MH-60 Blackhawk pilot, was shot down and taken prisoner during the battle. He’s alive today because of the heroic actions of his brothers in arms. We will never forget. ????

September 11th, 2001. We will never forget because we can’t forget. For those of us old enough to remember, this day is seared into our memories. And we recognize the many people too young to remember, but fight the threat of terrorism to this day, because they too will never forget. Today we remember the thousands who perished in these disgusting attacks, and the millions of lives forever changed as a result.
