November 20, 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the #TransgenderDayOfRemembrance. Observed annually on this date, the day was established in response to the tragic deaths of Rita Hester and Chanelle Pickett. Today, we honor those who have lost their lives due to violence and hate, while continuing to advocate for a world where everyone can live authentically and free from fear. To our friends and supporters who are members of the Transgender community, BPDBST stands in solidarity with you. ?? #transgenderrightsarehumanrights #transgender #suicideprevention #blacktranslivesmatter #bpdbst

In loving memory of Adrian Dukes II, a student at Morehouse College and a bright light to all who knew him. Adrian, a sociology major, was passionately committed to mental health awareness, dedicating himself to fostering open, supportive spaces for meaningful conversations. Through his work with A.U.C. C.H.I.L.L., he became a powerful advocate for mental health, and as a leader within Achieve M.O.O.R.E., he inspired others with his spirit of service. Beyond campus, Adrian contributed his time as an intern with the Morehouse College National Alumni Association and as a dedicated volunteer with Protect the Vote Georgia, exemplifying his steadfast dedication to community and justice. Adrian's journey underscores the importance of brotherhood and community as foundations of strength and support. Together, we remember Adrian's legacy and send love and light to all affected by his passing.
