I usually keep a low profile, but after participating in my first cohort of "AI for DMV Startups" sponsored by #InnovateDMV and US Ignite in partnership with Black Meta Agency, I felt compelled to share this experience. This program was transformative for both my personal and business (Blex Media) growth. During one of our final meetups, Daniel Kawah emphasized the importance of going big for our brands—stepping up, showing up, and speaking up. So here I am, stepping out from behind the scenes. Over the past few sessions, I’ve gained invaluable knowledge, resources, and connections. What stood out most was the mindset shift and the power of networking across. It’s one thing to talk about networking, but to connect with peers at every level who genuinely want to see each other win is something special. I often deal with imposter syndrome and shyness, but this space gave me the confidence to show up authentically. A huge thank you to #InnovateDMV, US Ignite, Black Meta Agency, Howard R. Jean, M.S. Ed ???? ????, Daniel Kawah, and every speaker who gave us "million dollars worth of game" (or whatever Jay-Z said).
